Intimate Wedding near Charlotte NC

I have said this many times, and I am going to say it again. The wedding day is all about the couple! It is their big day. As a wedding photographer, I am seeing more and more couples in the Charlotte and surrounding areas choose to elope or have intimate weddings, and that is what Kasey and Calen choose to do.

They gathered their closest loved ones together to witness their promise to each other.

A little Background…

I have known this bride for almost a decade. She is my sister-in-law. I met her when she was in her sophomore year of high school, and we have since been there for many big moments in each other’s lives. She may be my bonus sister but she is also my friend. I love this lady and I am so thankful that I could capture these moments for them.

Here’s how this intimate wedding went…

Calen got ready nearby at their home.

Kasey got dressed at her mom’s home where mom got her into her wedding dress. She also shared a first look with her big brother outside of their mom’s house. It was such a precious moment.

Once Kasey was ready (with Calen anxiously awaiting his bride), we loaded up and drove to the church. Once at the church, the two lovers shared a first look in private. This allowed them to intimately adore one another with no pressure before the ceremony and also gave us time to grab stunning bride and groom portraits. Being able to grab bride and groom portraits before the ceremony made it possible for them to go straight to enjoying their guest after the ceremony.

At the ceremony, they shared a kiss and was pronounced husband and wife! With the vows spoken, we all headed to eat a good dinner.
