The Venue at White Oaks

White Oaks is located in Longs, SC and is less than a 30 minute drive to the nearest beach! This venue is charming and was designed specifically for weddings. Which means that they thought of everything a couple could need to enjoy their wedding day!

I am not one to be great at using words to describing wedding days. It’s works better if I show you. Georgia and Blake had a rainy wedding day, but we didn’t let that stop us from capturing stunning images. We took advantage of the breaks in weather and umbrellas to capture gorgeous album worthy memories of their big day!

We had a short period of very light rain to capture all of the beautiful images!

Rainy Day Wedding Tips

1. Don’t Stress – Your images can still be absolutely stunning.
2. Have clear umbrellas on hand. These umbrellas photograph much better than other umbrellas.
3. Make sure your other vendors are aware of the weather in case they need to implement a rain plan of their own. Gear may need to be relocated, etc. If you have a planner they may do this for you.
4. Humidity will be your enemy for hair and makeup. Check with your stylist to make sure they are accounting for this.
5. Be flexible!!! Rainy wedding days tend to need flexibility and creativity from your photographer and videographer.
