Have you ever drove past a field and thought, hey I want to photograph a beautiful woman there. I mean complete with a to die for dress and everything?! ?

Well I have and I got to do just that last Friday! This shoot with Michelle was so much fun. And once we got there her family had me cracking up the whole time. It’s no wonder that we got so many beautiful pictures of Michelle smiling when she has that much love surrounding her.

They were just what the shoot needed and who knows, I may hire them to come in and make others laugh. They were pros after all. ?

By the way, in case you are wondering, Michelle is #alopeciastrong

About five years ago she did a coming out shoot to let everyone else see her beauty in alopecia, which is an auto immune disease that causes your body to attack your hair follicles.

She told me that until that point many of her coworkers and friends didn’t know because she would wear her wig. I am sure that being able to proudly show others was a wonderful experience, and I wish I could have been a part of it back then too, but Melissa Pendleton did a fantastic job, and I know Michelle adored her session with Melissa.

When you have this much confidence you can’t help but shine!

This is Michelle and her husband, Gary, who has been there with her during this beautiful journey for around twenty years now. They actually just celebrated an anniversary. ?
